Opus Transactional Information Kiosk
Derived from the highly acclaimed Opus Information Kiosk, the Opus Transactional
Kiosk provides
additional facilities to enable the delivery of full card-based transaction
services in public access
environments. Opus Transactional features the latest fully motorised
insertion card reader technology,
supporting both magnetic cards and smart cards in a single unit. A 40-column,
auto-cutting receipt
printer and modem are integrated to create a hardware platform ready to run a
variety os user applications.
Easy access to the printer mechanism for paper changes is by way of a lockable
panel behind the display.
In common with all Opus kiosks, a high performance LCD display system, interactive
touch screen overlay
and a state-of-the-art multimedia computer are standard features.
Opus occupies less than 0.1m2 of valuable floor space,
and it's unobtrusive styling makes it a pleasure
to use and avoids user reticence. Opus is manufactured from steel and cast
aluminium making it one
of the most robust solutions available. The unit is finished in hardwearing
paint, and is easily customised
to suit individual installations by changing the basic colour and by adding special
silk screening.
