Uniting Tape and Disk:
Users need the security of traditional tape, but with the performance of modern disk-to-disk technology. The BAKStor Appliance combines the benefits of both technologies, and provides the BAKStor Solution Suite of enhanced options allowing the perfect match and individual configuration.

Performance, Availability and Reliability
Faced with an ever-shrinking backup window, administrators have the dilemma of performing less complete and less reliable backups, resulting in a longer and unreliable recovery and restore. BAKStor's backup-to-disk anyway function reduces the user's recovery time to minutes, whilst transparently managing the process of writing to tape and maintaining remote offsite disaster recovery copies.
