The Tandberg SLR3 offers Scalable Linear Recording with a 1.2Gb data storage capacity at transfer rates of up to 1.1Gb per hour.
The Tandberg SLR3 is made for people who understand the vital importance of preserving data and information for their organization.  It provides a high powered storage solution for your PC, PC servers and smaller mid-range systems.  It is ideal for busy and fast growing small businesses utlilizing typical office applications, data bases, e-mail and print/file server.
The Tandberg SLR3 has read and write capability (with the correct cartridge) with previous SLR tape products (SLR1-SLR2 - it backwards reads and writes to QIC525, QIC150 and QIC120).
The Tandberg SLR3 drive utilizes highly proven linear recording technology, providing superior reliability (<1.% field returns) backed by a 2 year tape drive warranty.
